"My spectacular second graders would love to spend more time reading quality non-fiction. In order to grow great readers the students need to spend more time in text. Not only do they need to be reading great fictional books, but they also need exposure to more real world reading that is found in Time For Kids Magazine.
Our students have a hard enough time finding money to buy lunch or to go on a field trip. I couldn't imagine asking our parents who struggle everyday to make ends meet for more money. Their children deserve the opportunity to have quality materials that will help them become the best they can be. I have found that our second graders just love reading non-fiction books and magazines and I would love the opportunity to put more great non-fiction materials in their hands. I would love to have a subscription to Time For Kids Magazine for this coming school year. Last year I had a few sample magazines that were sent for free and the kids would argue everyday about who got to read the magazine next. I would love to give each of my students the chance to have their own copy of the magazine so we can work together as a group to improve their non-fiction reading skills. Your help will ensure that each of my spectacular second graders has their very own copy of Time For Kids Magazine. You will make it possible for them to grow as readers and be the best they can be. HIDE My students need 1 copy each for a total of 30 copies of Time for Kids Magazine.
