I teach English Language Arts to 2 sections of 3rd grade.

I had a lot of trouble last year trying to motivate my students with both their classwork and behavior. I am hoping that these incentives will help motivate them in the right direction.

I am requesting assorted colored pencils, star stickers, and a treasure chest to give as an incentive or reward for good behavior and complete classwork. I like to reward my students for complete classwork/homework, and for positive behavior. Allowing these students to receive a positive enforcement rewards them for their hard work, but also motivates the other students to do the same. I am also asking for assorted "Happy Birthday" pencils to give to the students when they are celebrating their birthday.

You will make it possible for my 2 sections of 3rd grade to receive rewards for their hard work and good behavior. Positive behavior is very important in my class and school. It is difficult for some parents to spend extra money on candy or other incentives for the class. This will ensure that my students will receive positive rewards for their dedication no matter what.
