Books are a classrooms map to a love of reading!
I teach fourth grade. I typically have a variety of different leveled learners. I enjoy incorporating literature and music in with math and other content areas. Books are a great way to relate to the students real life in all subjects. They understand the concept more when they can make connections to their own knowledge.
My students and I LOVE to incorporate literature across the curriculum. Reading is everywhere and in every subject, so we need books that show us just that.
The items requested are those that will help my students soar not only in math, but in reading as well. Reading is part of math, just as math is a part of reading. They go hand in hand!
