"Through the use of math, anything is possible. I teach 2nd grade in a low-income school where over 70% of our children are on a free or reduced lunch and many are English Language Learners. The fact that many of my students are English Language Learners proves even more challenging without enrichment activities that support the primary curriculum. I have the basic curriculum, but do not have any math games which would aid children in mastering math concepts quicker. My students finish their primary assignments, but need further activities which correlate with the concepts we are working on. I need several math games which follow the 2nd grade math curriculum. The games would assist my students in comprehending math concepts quicker, help my English Language Learners understand the concepts better than any math worksheet ever could, and would help prevent my students from getting board. My students constantly say "I'm done, now what can I do?" Without any enrichment activities, such as math games, there's not much I can tell them. Your assistance in supplying my classroom with math games will help make learning fun and should provide students with the confidence they need to retain their math concepts and get further in life. Math is the building blocks to the future and we need more mathematicians. Your donations could create more mathematicians and aide in the development of a grander United States.
My students need 8 various math games which will aid in their comprehension of the curriculum and will cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and time.

Dear Kim from Canada, Michael, Sheila, Minoli, Gaddy, TeriAnn, Morgan and Anonymous Donor,
When I received your email I shouted for joy. My class looked at me like I was insane. However, when I explained why I was so enthusiastic they began cheering with me. They were apparently so excited, and noisy, that the principal had to come see what we were excited about. These materials will help to increase their math scores in class, and later on the ISAT's in upper grades. My students could use every opportunity to be exposed to math especially through the game world. These materials will be a wonderful tool that I can add to my classroom and will be used for years to come. With gratitude, Mrs. J.
