Students get very excited when technology is used in the classroom. They pay closer attention and are more actively engaged in the lessons. My school is sharing LCD projectors between classrooms. It's time consuming to sign out the projector, roll it down to my classroom, and set it up. The projector is not always available for use because other classrooms are using it. I have to plan lessons around the time that I can get the projector. Ideally I would use the projector a couple times a day.

I would love to have my own LCD projector in my classroom. I could Google something on a whim for the class to see. The projector would be used to review for tests using Powerpoints and games, Internet searches, and interactive websites. I would also like to have my students create Powerpoints and present them to the class.

Funding for this project would make science, social studies, math, and language arts lessons come to life! Thank you so much for reading my proposal and making a difference in my second grade classroom!
