Many of my students are from single home families that are struggling on a daily basis to make end meet. First graders are so eager to learn how to read and to share with others what they are learning. My class needs a class set of the Weekly Reader magazines and a student work box to help them keep their magazines organized. Each week the students will receive a new magazine that will help them learn to read and read fluently. At the end of each month they will be able to take them home and share it with their families. Your help will ensure that my students get off to a great start learning how to read. Remember, reading is the key to success. This magazine will teach them many things about our world. My students need 20 Weekly Reader magazines, a student work organizer, and 12 extra organizer boxes. HIDEMs. C.'s Classroom:
