"Do you remember learning about water in science in kindergarten? I don't specifically, but I want my students to remember. I teach kindergarten in a high-poverty, high-need community in Texas.

My students love books and love to learn new things. I call them Super Scientists and we learn and make discoveries each day. Water is a fascinating topic because they all know what it is, but haven't learned about the properties of water and how interesting it can be.

With the books in these 2 book sets, my students will learn about water with pictures and words that will be memorable. The Water Science Tub will make a great class project for doing experiments with water. Students will love helping, questioning, and working together as they learn.

I want my students to remember science in kindergarten. In order to do this, I need colorful, educational, hands-on resources to keep them engaged in learning. Please help make this possible for my students.

My students need 2 book sets about water and a Water Science Tub Exploration Kit.

Dear *, Nancy and Anonymous Donor,
I am so happy that you have funded my project. My students and I are having a great year. We love studying science and doing projects and experiments. Having these science books about water will greatly enhance our unit on water. I also plan to share the books with the 4 other kindergarten classes in our school. The water science tub will allow for great hands-on learning to help students understand concepts about water.

I'm looking forward to receiving the materials and sharing them with my students and fellow teachers. Thanks so much for supporting my classroom!

With gratitude,
Ms. N.
