Ours is a school in a nice community that doesn't get Title I money or extra aid that other schools in the district receive. We are one of the largest elementary schools in the district, and money doesn't go as far as it does in other places.

We have tried to do projects with the students where they are given cameras and asked to find geometric shapes in their surroundings. Unfortunately, we don't have enough working cameras to make the project worth doing. Without an appropriate amount of cameras, 1 for each 3 or 4 students in a class, it takes far too long for the students to get pictures taken. With additional cameras, students will be able to take pictures, upload them to the computer, and outline the shapes and angles they have found in the world around them.

Your help will ensure that the students here have an opportunity to bring math to life! We will be able to work in the world outside of the classroom walls, get out of our seats, and enjoy learning!

My students need 4 digital point and click cameras.
