I teach First Graders to read, write and problem-solve! My students leave my classroom with a love of learning that I hope will grow throughout their lifetimes.

My English Language Learners need to be able to hear fluent readers, which they might not have at home. A listening center develops phonemic awareness and fluency.

We need a listening center along with books on CD to learn to become proficient readers. I have seen such improvements in students overall reading abilities with the use of a listening center and books on CD.

You will make it possible for economically challenged students to have resources not afforded to them any other way!
