95% of my classroom is getting free or reduced lunch. I teach third grade in a high needs community, and the students are struggling readers.

My students do not have the appropriate materials needed at home to ensure literacy success. The families in my school need the resources to help their child/ren become life long learners.

My list consists of high interest literature at various levels and plastic book bags to carry the materials to and from school. I will use them like a mini library that the students can check in and out. I will also include a response card, also a listed item, to respond to their reading with higher level thinking questions.

Your donation will help increase my students reading abilities every year by having just right books available to them!
