I am a Teaching Fellow in my fourth year of teaching. I teach a 3rd grade special education class (multiple subjects). My classroom demographic is diverse. My students are of ages 8-10. They have been diagnosed with learning disabilities (speech/language impairment, cognitive/developmental delays, etc.), sensory impairments (visual, auditory), related health alerts (ADD/ADHD) and emotional/behavioral disorders (EBD). I have a class of 12 children this year, 7 boys and 5 girls. My class and I were very fortunate to receive a laser printer from a donor last year. We used the printer to print out our findings from the internet, homework calendars, educational worksheets and much more. Unfortunately the printer ran out of toner. The toner for the printer is very expensive and well beyond our grasp to purchase. But we hope after reading this proposal you will support us in donating to this proposal. It is unfortunate that such a valuable asset is sitting idle because it does not have color toners to function. This laser printer needs several cartridges, each of a different color, in order to assemble a color print. So, we need to buy magenta, cyan, yellow, and black cartridges for this Samsung CL610N laser printer. Some colors are used more quickly than others at the rate of two magenta cartridges for every one of the cyan, yellow or black. Please support us so I will be able to print out necessary, test, documents articles and research information for my students. My students would also like to print their book reviews and research papers. If you fund this proposal you will give my students an opportunity to have the necessary resources we are lacking because of budget cuts. My students and I would be very grateful for your commitment to learning. Please fund our proposal.
