I teach Java and Web Page Design in a large urban High School, grades 9 -12. There are many free and reduced lunch students in the school. Fifty countries are represented in our school. Our funding for hardware in my computer classroom has been depleted for 3 years.

My classes are in charge of creating and maintaining the School Web Site and web sites for many businesses in the community. Our network is unreliable and we often find that the work we accomplished yesterday has not been saved to the server. So, everyday when we come into our classroom we check to see if what we did yesterday is still there.

We need external hard drives to back up our work. We have three classes that need to be backed up. We would know, with confidence that our work would be there from day to day. Furthermore we would not have to repeat the work that was already done.

You can help us by providing the hard drives. We could accomplish so much more if we do not have to reinvent our work when our network does not save.
