"My first grade class needs a library of hardback books that can be used over and over again. There have been many cutbacks in our state and our district has been adversely effected. We need many reading resources, but a library will enhance our newly learned skills and give us a means to practice our oral reading fluency.
There are excellent resources for a classroom library that includes classic stories such as "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" It will be convenient to have these books right here in our classroom where they are immediately available for use. You can make it possible for us to have immediate gratification that supports our reading acquisition as we improve all of our reading skills. This comprehensive library of hardback books will give lasting pleasure and learning opportunities to my students as they practice their reading skills. Your generous and caring donations will enable these students to learn to enjoy reading for pleasure and foster a life long enjoyment of learning. My students need a classroom library of classic books.
