CAN I MEASURE UP? I am the new Math Lead Educator for our elementary school that enrolls close to 900 students with a large special education population. We need a math resource room for our large staff. I've set out to create such a resource!

NO MONEY, NO MONEY, NO MONEY - that's what they keep telling me! I can't let that get in my way. We need a math resource room and I'm not going to quit until we have one that will make the teachers rave!

I have put my OWN money where my mouth is by using a $500 award I won as Teacher of the Year for math supplies. NOW, I challenge you - we really need measurement materials and you could help us get them. I want to add yardsticks, meter sticks, measuring tapes, attribute blocks, sorting circles, and measurement bingo to our math resource room.

COME ON!!! Jump on board my train of enthusiasm! I'll promise you that I'm worth the energy. I haven't let a challenge beat me yet. Wouldn't you want your child to have a teacher like that?
