Make Books Available All the Time

My students need 25 chair pockets so that their library and guided reading books are available to them at all times.

I teach a wonderful 3rd grade class of second language learners. They are all very sweet and eager to learn. My students come from hard working, but poor families. Since we are the poor school in the district we are the last to be funded any money for extras.

My students do not have the money to buy books at home so I try to provide them with a wide variety of books to read. They love the books and want to keep all of them at their desk, but this is not possible because of the lack of space.

The chair pockets will hang off the back of the students chair and will hold several books for the students to read. They can keep them organized, safe, and readily available.

My students need every opportunity to read many books because of their parents inability to buy books at home and that they are second language learners. You will make it possible for my students this year and years to come to have books at all times.
