I teach Spanish in a wonderful school where my students' mother language is English. They are really motivated to learn!

I teach Spanish in a wonderful school to more than 620 students whose mother language is mostly English. They are really motivated to learn and to speak Spanish as a foreign language. From the very first day, I have taught them through kinesthetic activities and TPR (total Physical Response). I also teach them vocabulary and Spanish expressions through books and stories. Nevertheless, I do not have any center where I can post the stories I read to my students in the target language, so sometimes I find myself holding the books for the length of the story and that fact interferes with the development of the kinesthetic conditions I want they to develop.

If I had a center in my room that let me to introduce vocabulary, stories and the TPR activities, students would be have more chances to interact with me and to learn the vocabulary right away. Students could get a better picture of the stories I read to them, they could see the pictures of the big books that I show them in Spanish but most important , I could show them the kinesthetic motions for them to make connections and continue developing their Spanish learning process

Indeed, your help will give my students a great opportunity to read, to move, to speak and as a result to speak in a foreign language that is what we need to understand our differences and our similarities as human beings in a diverse world.
