My fifth grade math students are in need of energy. Believe me when I tell you that they are not short of energy when it comes to gym class or recess. What I mean is battery power... for our Jeopardy remotes.

We are fortunate enough to have "Classroom Jeopardy," which the students absolutely love. We are also lucky enough to have enough remotes for 15 people - three teams of five. Our problem is that each remote control takes two AAA batteries.

As everyone knows, batteries are very expensive - especially when you need 30 at at time. We would like to get 30 rechargeable AAA batteries and 4 chargers for our remote controls. That way, we won't have to keep buying batteries. The chargers that we want charge 4 batteries in 6-8 hours, so we will be able to charge all 30 batteries in 12-16 hours.

My students love Jeopardy. It is fun, yet educational. It is an excellent resource for reviewing material. The rechargeable batteries will enable us to be charged for our "Fun Friday" competitions. Please give us the power!
