I am a Reading Teacher in an urban multicultural school district. We are trying to update our guided reading selections since it has been a very long time since new titles have been added!

I have many students who are very excited about reading, but many of our titles are worn, missing, (most titles from the 80'sand 90's) and limited in their appeal. There are so many books out there that can really draw students to reading, we want to modernize and update our selections to appeal to our young, excited readers.

I would like to purchase 6 copies from such authors as Dan Gutman, Frank Asch, Grace Lin, and Andrew Clements. We don't have any titles by these amazing authors and I know it would motivate even our most reluctant readers to join in our reading groups with enthusiasm!

Your donation will make it possible for my students to read some awesome new literature. Please help to make fourth grade a memorable literary experience for our students filled with new adventures, experiences, and conversations about books!
