Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach full-day kindergarten in Nevada. My school is an at risk, low income, and we have a high number of English Language Learners.

Several of my students are really struggling with letter names and sounds. I am looking for a new and fun way for them to work on their skills.

The LeapFrog Fridge Phonics will be a fun, yet educational, way for them to work on these skills. The hands-on activities provided by the Fridge phonics will help my students not only work on recognizing letters and sounds, it will also help them begin blending sounds so they will be ready to read in first grade.

Your help will allow my struggling students become more fluent with their letter sounds and allow them to leap into first grade with the skills they need.
