Our high school is old and in poor condition since it was built in the 60's. Our students are poor. Most work part-time. But they have a thriving Film Club and a vibrant interest in the arts. Let us use the time and resources we possess to envelope them in their rich American movie heritage, and exhibit their own work too.

Our large cafeterias will accommodate classes or evening audiences. We have DVD players. We have projectors. But we have no suitable projection screen or blank wall space!

All we need to make Movie Night, or Film Club happen is a LARGE projection screen in each cafeteria. Parents and students can enjoy community time, and students can show their own work with pride.

Being able to see classic movies, or show their own movie creations, on the "big screen" will create both memorable community experiences, and learning experiences. Movie references are scattered in our daily communication: in newspapers, in conversation, on television. Please help our students deepen their social and cultural roots, and show their own work with pride!
