Let Them See with a New LCD!

My students need a LCD projector and computer speakers.

My second grade readers are called the Reading Rockets. As a first year teacher I have set up my classroom for success. They are shooting for their big goal of learning to read at a third grade reading level. My classroom is full of students from a very low income neighborhood in Washington, DC. They have never had the education they deserved. I am on a mission to give them the best education possible.

We have access to internet at my school, but we have broken computers! There are so many great websites that are great for learning reading that my students would benefit from tremendously if given the opportunity.

I have a personal laptop that I would like to connect to an LCD projector with speakers, to give my students the opportunity to interact with learning in really fun ways. I want to play reading games and do math addition facts. This will make learning really fun for my student and keep them motivated throughout the year.

Please give my students the opportunity to have access to everything that the internet has to offer students. My students need and want everything they can get their hands on to learn everything they can. Please help my students reach their goals in new and really interactive ways!
