Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a small, rural 3A high school, with approximately 400 students. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds, with over 75% being economically disadvantaged.

As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are also diverse in their academics.

Students are active in UIL sports and academics, FFA, Student Council, and many academic clubs.

Students enjoy hands-on and stimulating activities. With the school's budget, we aren't always able to purchase the items we want to fulfill these activities.

My Project

By donating to our project, you will help students solidify their understanding of body systems. Not only will your donation help to improve and increase student attention and focus, it will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

None of my students have experienced dissection.

They are enthralled in this project, and look forward to it every year. This will provide them the opportunity to examine actual organs, which are similar to human organs.

Unfortunately, like many rural schools, our budget doesn't always allow for these items, which are expensive. Please help my students to have this incredible experience! :)
