I teach first grade at a brand new school this year and our resources are quite limited. I have 19 boys and girls who are highly motivated readers.

Being at a brand new school, we have one lone book shelf to house our miraculous collection of literature. I express to my students how important it is to keep our books nice, neat and organized because nobody enjoys reading a book that is torn to pieces, has pages missing, or that is in the wrong tub (or location) on top of it. This Book Cart will do just the trick! The kids will really enjoy searching through the Book Cart for leveled books and categorized books. The Book Cart will also be fun and easy for the students to return their book to the correct location ensuring that it will be in the right spot for the next reader that is looking for it!

I am asking for a Leveled Reading Book Browser Cart for my first grade classroom. This Book Cart will be plenty of storage for our books that do not have a home on our one lonely shelf in our classroom. They will keep our books neat, easy to see and very accessible for our small hands! The Book Cart also comes with colored tubs to house the books so I will be able to organize our books into categories based on reading levels. This ensures every student can find a book that he or she is able to read successfully!
