Fungus Farm

My students need petri dishes to culture cells collected during scientific lab investigations and 1 Magnifier. Petri dishes will allow them to observe the growth of fungus and bacteria as well as conduct experiments in a closed environment.

Once you cross the threshold, you're in Hands-On Heaven! Middle school science opens up a whole other world for students who are enrolled in this school that is making an impact on their lives every day. It is not my desire to protect them from the outside world but instead give them the tools to discover the greater possibilities that their environment has to offer.

For the first time ever, middle school students will be participating in a science fair. The opportunity for independent investigations have the students very excited! The majority of the students wish to experiment with the growth of bacteria and fungus and need proper supplies to do so.

The petri dishes will allow for any student who is investigating bacteria and fungus growth to do so accurately. Data collection is a key element in completing a science fair project and I don't want to short change my students in any way.

We ask ourselves, what can I do? What can I possibly do to make a dream a reality? Being in the business of inspiration and encouragement, let me tell you, it doesn't take much. If you are WILLING, then you're ABLE. With your donations, you are helping my students discover the world around them.
