We are a classroom of excited learners! We are in a high poverty area. In this building, we serve 19 English Language Learners who are in Developmental Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

With computer software, my kids are having fun while learning. Some kids learn best with visual aids, some prefer audio instruction, and some need a combination. This software provides it all!

My students need the software The Rosetta Stone to incorporate technology into our ESL classroom. By having this software to enrich my ESL program, my kids will be able to self-direct and learn at their own pace while I can track their progress and see areas where they need extra work. This program helps guide their learning, my teaching, and creates a learning environment that is beneficial to all! We have the computers, but our software is very outdated and the Rosetta Stone software is specifically created to help people learn a new language. The software will stay on the computers and be available for students to use for many years to come.

Your support will help my kids become successful in their regular classrooms. They are learning the curriculum of the classroom while simultaneously learning English, and it's not an easy feat! You'd never know the struggle from the attitudes of my kids, they love to learn and we celebrate their success with the entire community. You can make a difference in these kids' lives.
