Need Paper For Class!

My students need to have paper for the rest of the school year. Due to the current recession, our school district has had to freeze funds and/or cut other funds which we originally had. I need to have copier paper to run tests and worksheets for the rest of the year. I am trying my best to conserve paper by running half sheets or only a class set, but my paper supply is almost gone, and our district can't guarantee when our finances will return to normal.

I teach approximately 100 seventh graders in a small-town South Carolina school with a lot of poverty/semi-poverty students.

My students frequently don't have the most basic of supplies. I spend over half of my yearly allowance from the state on notebook paper, notebooks, pencils, etc. for needy students. I didn't know that our school district was going to freeze funds this year requiring our school to stop supplying copier paper. Things are getting very tough in this recession, but I'm trying everything I can to conserve my supplies. However, I didn't know that I needed to buy basic office supplies, too.

I need paper for term papers, tests, worksheets, etc. Having copier paper will ensure that my students don't have to waste precious class time copying work onto notebook paper because I don't have white paper for copies.

Your donation will help me keep my class running as a classroom should. You will save my students HOURS of time since they won't have to waste time copying worksheet & test questions off of the board. You will help us to spend our time learning, not copying! Thank you!!!
