I am a speech-language pathologist working in an elementary school in an urban setting.

This year we are facing many students with mild articulation disorders who may not qualify for services, but are still in need. These students may be at risk for later reading challenges without help.

I am going into classrooms and working with students who are not on my caseload. These are mostly Kindergarteners who also need help with phonemic awareness. Whisper Phones will help students to hear and pick out sounds much better in the noisy classroom environment. For the students who do qualify for services, Whisper Phones will also help them in picking out sounds and developing a better ear when articulating new sounds!

Your donation will help our students be successful and not "fall through the cracks" because they don't qualify for direct services. It will also help those students who already qualify better listen to sounds they are trying to articulate.
