Capture Projects with Digital Technology

My students need a digital camera in order to capture our projects completed in class, along with the field experiences we have outside of class.

My students are fabulous and inquisitive! I teach 4th grade at a new charter school (this is our second year of operation) and I have 60 students during the school day.

We are a technology based school, but we are lacking the funds to purchase many of the supplies we feel are necessary for instruction.

I am requesting a digital camera in order to allow my students to document activities we complete in class, along with our field trip experiences. My students love to take pictures and write about their experiences. They want to utilize our computers more by having pictures to upload and create Power Point presentations based on our field trips and classroom experiences. We would use a digital camera weekly and feel it is a vital tool for our classroom learning environment.

Due to the limited funds we have, I am not able to provide every piece of equipment that is necessary for a technology-driven classroom. Your help would make it possible for my students to document their fourth grade school year.
