Cart & Speakers Needed For Laptop/Projector!!!

My students need a functional AV cart and Insignia 5.1 surround sound speakers for lessons using power points, videos, and internet-based information.

New York's budget cuts have hit us hard! I teach 115 motivated high school sophomores and seniors in a high-needs section. My course is a unique Sports Journalism class that requires technology, yet we lack the proper resources.

As my course revolves around sports, my students need to be able to see and hear sports. Furthermore, published articles are only available to us via printing and photocopying at the moment(not a reliable or timely method).

Establishing an internet-based AV center will allow a number of ways to engage students and provide an easy way to project internet articles. Getting a proper cart for a laptop and projector is critical as there is no easy way to set them up now. Additionally, laptop speakers are needed so that video can be watched with sound.

With your help, my classroom can get the resources it needs to access essential technology. Thank you in advance!
