No Finger Painting in Kindergarten for Way Too Long

My students need 2 drying racks for all their gorgeous finger paint creations, and two Washable Fingerpaint Assortments to encourage creativity throughout the school year!!

I admit it. I was afraid to let my Kindergarten students fingerpaint, even though I knew in my heart and brain that they would love it...and they do! Recently, I got brave and introduced fingerpainting to my eager and enthusiastic students and realized that this is an activity we all want to repeat again and again.

Our school has no budget for the arts. An infusion of new colors of finger paint and adequate drying space for our finished creations will be a wonderful addition to our classroom. When I got past my own reluctance to let my students get a real "HANDS ON" experience with paint and paper I was thrilled with the artistic results but more thrilled with the joy my students experienced and the oohs and aaaahs of delight: "Ooooooh, we did this in my preschool and we LOVED it!!!" The total joy my students experienced taught me so much about doing what I know is needed, even if it isn't always at my comfort level!

The racks for drying the paintings will encourage us because there will be a designated and safe place to dry our creations. The new paint will insure that we can repeat the activity during choice time again and again and help us all experience the joy of learning.

Your generous donations will inspire me to keep doing activities with my students that are developmentally appropriate and will bring smiles again and again to my Kindergarten artists. Thank you for helping provide an indelible sensory experience that will always be remembered with fondness!
