My inspiring second graders love to learn using arts integration and we need access to a choice variety of music pieces at the click of a button.

Currently, to listen to music in the classroom, the students have to sort through a book of old and worn out CDs. The students waste valuable classroom learning time by playing CDs that skip or repeat which is a cause of frustration.

These wonderful students could use an iPod with speakers at their fingertips in order to listen to books read to them, as well as listen to music that is integrated with their art lessons. For example, the students are learning about the American Revolution. In order to play music from that time period, the students have to search for songs from a big book of CDs and then hope the CD is not worn out. An iPod would eliminate much wasted time and provide immediate access to songs.
