I have a classroom full of energetic, yet socioeconomically challenged, kindergartners. They are eager to learn, love trying new things, and live life to the fullest. My class is very appreciative of the things they have.

We have a new reading company that is telling us what concepts we need to teach this year to improve our students academically. They, however, have not provided us with many resources. The phonemic awareness materials I have requested will give my students more varied learning opportunities.

I have requested 2 phonemic awareness kits and an alphabet kit. These materials will engage my students in a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Active engagement will help my students achieve success in developing their reading skills.

Your donations will greatly improve the reading development of these students. The earlier literacy skills are developed in children, the more successful he/she will become down the road!
