"Writing is a life skill and something every child needs practice to perfect. The students in my school have many interests and we have channeled those interests into writing a class newspaper.
A digital camera set to use would help inspire and enrich the students' writing experience. Our school does not have digital cameras the children can use. We would like to add pictures to our newspaper and we would like technology the children can use themselves to accomplish this goal.
A set of digital cameras would allow children to work on articles in small groups and add photographs to their written pieces. This would add excitement for the students writing the articles and the children reading the articles.
Your donation could put technology in the hands of my students. You would help reinforce the very important skill of written communication and visual literacy for them as well.
My students need 6 digital cameras to add pictures and portraits to our class newspaper.
The cost of this proposal is $338, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ."

Your generous
gift of digital cameras has allowed my students to add pictures to their
presentations and given them an opportunity to use technology and modern tools.
We have enough cameras for each group of four students to share.The children are thrilled to have access to
this technology.
Our district is
facing budget cuts and your gift has given the children tools we would not have
otherwise been able to purchase.We
have used the cameras to generate photos for a Power Point Presentation in
science. We also plan to use the cameras to take pictures during a field trip
and add the photos to our class newspaper.

Thank you for funding my writing project. The students in my class will benefit from the ability to use the cameras and add photos to our class newspaper as well as add photos to other presentations such as Power Point Projects and content area presentations.
Having your support has allowed me to give my class an opportunity that will truly enrich their education and spark their interest. I am grateful for this gift and it is reassuring to know that educational endeavors in our public schools are supported by your generosity.

"The kids love the cameras and will be using them to photograph school events. We hope to use the photos as covers for thank you notes to staff and volunteers who helped during these events. These cameras have helped the children with cooperation and responsibility. They take turns using the camera, keeping the camera safe, and help each other when "technical support" is needed!"
