Parents and Pizza Party

My students need 3 sets of pizza party letterhead and 48 bottles of gatorade. We will plan 4 parent pizza parties throughout the year to meet after school and celebrate the partnership and create better communication. We have 300 7th grade students in a low income area.

I team teach 7th grade science and we have 300 students. These students are beautiful but living in stressful situations with their family and community. There is high drug influence and many parents are in jail. These students are in the middle school which is also a time for change.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING WITH FAMILIES! Just a little bit of pizza, coke and time to talk. We need to build our relationships with parents and work toward the village concept to help our students see a positive future.

Positive Pizza Party !! Students love it!!! They need someone to say "You are great and we are going to work together to help you have a positive future". Pizza, drinks, napkins, invitations - beginning of relationships for their future. Pizza- will cost ........... Relationship - priceless

WE had our first pizza party with parents and had over 70 to attend. WE need to do this at least 4 more times. Relationship is vital to the success of our students and working toward a positive future while many are living in a negative world. Help us bring everyone together!
