Interactive Notetaking and Reading

My students need 9 different sets of materials to use in the classroom for interactive notetaking, including 104 glue sticks, 30 pencil boxes, 30 pencil sharpeners, and many colored pencils.

As an eighth grade physical science teacher it is very difficult to get information across to my students. Almost all of my students are from low income families and many of them are special needs students, so learning is very difficult for them.

I have very little in the way of supplies for my classes. Much of what I do have are things that I have purchased myself.

The materials that my students need are very simple materials, such as colored pencils and glue sticks. These resources will be used to create interactive notebooks. These notebooks will replace our old, out of date textbooks and also spark an interest in learning science in my students.

Your help will ensure that our students have knowledge in the field of science. Activities and lessons that are conducted using these materials with this method of note taking will peak their interest in science, and hopeful spark a life long love for it. Science is a vast and interesting area, in which the sky is the limit. Please help us show our students how wonderful science can really be.
