I work with high school Special Education students with moderate to severe reading problems, focusing on improving their reading skills and improving self-confidence in their ability to read.

My students want to read; they simply lack the skills. As a result they never have the opportunity to read the novels and stories we take for granted.

I want to be able to offer my students the opportunity to listen to Playaway Audiobooks. By having the audiobooks they can not only read the books, but improve their sight vocabulary and word attack skills.

By helping my class, you will be giving students a chance to read novels that so many people take for granted. They will have the chance to read books that their peers enjoy on a regular basis, simply by being able to read and listen to them at the same time. YOU can help students who struggle to read become readers who love the written word!
