As a result, technology that has become standard issue in many suburban and private schools is nonexistent in my classroom.
My students need access to technology in order to maximize learning opportunities that are available through digital and online resources for teachers. I want to broaden my students' learning by connecting with schools and projects around the country and around the world! With an LCD projector, I can make better use of the one computer in my classroom. There are several online projects that integrate science and social studies that we could participate more fully in if we had the projector. Many interactive learning activities require an LCD projector. Your help will ensure that my students not only have increased access to technology and exciting online projects, but will make it possible for me to take advantage of more and better resources for my instruction. My students need an LCD projector in our classroom so that I can share affordable resources available in electronic format while at the same time providing access to technology that many do not have outside of school.
