Privacy, Please!

My students need 30 privacy partitions to allow them to focus on their work and complete their independent assignments without unnecessary distractions. An artwork drying rack will perform double duty as a storage location for these privacy partitions.

I teach fourth grade in an economically disadvantaged public school. It is difficult to get textbooks and pencils from the district for my students, let alone additional classroom resources and items that will improve the children's learning.

My students face another disadvantage every day. My classroom is located next to the playground, and our windows overlook the site. This makes it very difficult for nine year olds to focus on their lessons. As each grade level has a different time throughout the day for recess, I often find my students unintentionally staring out the window, wishing they could be outside playing instead of inside working.

I am positive that the dividers I am requesting will help my students focus more on their learning and help them become more successful within my classroom. We must find a way to eliminate the distraction of children playing right outside our classroom.

I need your help. I feel as if I am fighting a losing battle which can only be won with your assistance. Won't you consider supporting me in my effort to help my students eliminate the distractions that are interfering with their learning? I CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP. PLEASE HELP US!
