I teach 556 PreK-5 students in our library media center. 28 classes of students come to me for literacy learning lessons each week.

I am partnering with community volunteers to promote read-aloud experiences in our library media center. These senior citizens are helping make a generational bridge with my elementary literacy learners.

We are in desperate need of bundles of eight beginning reader books. Our library is brand new and the economy has caused our budget to be frozen. Empty shelves are waiting for books to use with our literacy learning projects.

Thank you for your partnership with us as we create lifelong literacy learners in our library media center. The senior citizen volunteers are giving our students the gift of time and nurture. We need the books to assist us in the "Generations Crossing" venture.
