I teach speech therapy and I like to custom make speech therapy materials for all my students to use. I teach pre-schoolers to middle school age children. I have found that with these basic items I can custom print materials that will meet a child's individual needs, be it articulation or photos of themselves when working on pronouns. I don't have a color printer-copier at school but maybe I will soon. They really respond to these types of activities because they are made just for them!

One obstacle is that I am a new teacher and most of my supplies I have bought myself. I still am in need of so much. The second obstacle that my students face is they have to be in a group setting and not a one-on-one therapy session. Therefore, I have to be creative to have several different children working on several different sounds together. Therefore, I have to incorporate the differences into one activity that they can all participate in and work on their speech errors at the same time. I have to put in extra time to make these activities but they usually are a big hit!

My students will be able to participate in the same activity that is one that meets their individual needs as a speech student. My class could use custom-made activities for speech therapy made from the 2 packs of white cardstock, 2 packs of laminating sheets, and the electric hole punch. The book about "feelings" would be used to explore these concepts in therapy.

I love my student or "My Kids" as I like to refer to them! Your help with the supplies I have picked out would mean more opportunities for them to have custom made activities or games to make the learning experience fun and enjoyable for them to want to come back to therapy next time.
