Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our books need a home! I teach in a 3rd grade bilingual classroom in an urban setting. It is crucial that my students have books available to choose to check out to read in class and at home. It is important that these books are organized in a way that allows students to search through them easily.

I have recently acquired, received, and purchased a number (about 300) of new and gently used library books for my students to read, but I need the supplies to organize the new books and get them ready for the students to check out!

We need library book pockets and library book cards to be able to add these new books to our existing library check out system in our classroom. We also need book storage so that the books can be organized.

My students have seen the piles of new books, and they are sooooo excited to check them out. Your help will give them the opportunity to take these books home. They can't wait!
