My students need an easy to use telescope. My students need solar system cards and books. My students need 3 solar system games. My students need facts about the solar system. My students need 1 solar system tub with various items. My students need 36 directional compasses.

Seeking: Super Solar System I am a third grade teacher in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. This is my second year teaching third grade. My students and I share the love for science. I have several children that are in come to me from special education and having supplies so they can see what we are studying is very important.

Can you imagine studying the solar system with out every being able to see it. My students learn about the sun, moon, and the stars. We can't learn about the sun until we understand the solar system in which our sun is the center of. My students are visual learners. Trying to purchase supplies becomes a challenge with the economy being so bad. My students would strive with hands on material that would enable them to have a stronger understanding of our planet, and how our planet fits into the solar system.

I am asking for several science books on the solar system. I believe that having books for children to read helps them discover and learn. I would like to have a few puzzles and games that challenge my students to recall facts and can be used to test what they have learned. I would love a telescope that could be set up for the entire year and we could keep daily logs on stars,phases of the moons, and other awesome features of our solar system. I have asked for a solar system tub that includes many items need to learn and understand the solar system.

I believe that children who are introduced to science will be given the seed to become future scientist. My job is to plant a seed of interest and curiosity. If given the proper materials I can change the negative thoughts about science for boys and girls and give them the love for science like I have. I would like to thank anyone who would give us this wonderful gift.
