My students need 8 copies of 5 young adult novels from "The Last Book in the Universe" to "Among the Hidden" that relate to the concept of a perfect society.

I am a 9th grade, English I teacher in a high school that serves almost 3500 students.

My classes have shown a great interest in reading current young adult literature; however, the funding for this school year is exhausted.

I need appropriate novels for my classes. I will use the different novel sets to place my students into literature circle groups where they can read and collaborate together on the ideas associated with the "creation of a perfect society." I want them asking questions like "is this possible?" or "a perfect society wouldn't really be perfect...would it?"
