My students come from all walks of life. I teach Kindergarteners in a mixed setting of high needs students, English language learners, special needs students, and talented and gifted students.

Since we have such a unique and diverse class, we often create materials about us. Our class is constantly making books and projects with our pictures on them. Unfortunately, we only have one digital camera in the school, so I need bring my camera from home to capture the photos for our books. We are often losing out on learning opportunities because my camera is at home instead of at school.

All we need to keep making books that build our vocabulary, represent our community, and teach us to read is a digital camera in our classroom. Our friends who are learning English for the first time can have small books to teach the vocabulary of our room. Our friends in need of more help can have an ABC book with our photos in it. Our whole class can have more class books that capture our everyday kindergarten adventures.

Your help with ensure that our class will continue to grow and learn together and that we will finally have the opportunity to take a picture anytime we want.
