My students need to have an exciting, fun and organized listening and library center. We need an accessible book display case, hanging book bags and storage unit to store all of our books, books on tape and CD.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a Special Education Resource Teacher teaching reading to students from grades K - 4th and 6th grade. My students all have a learning disability which makes reading books independently difficult for them. I have obtained a large amount of books on tape and CD that my students enjoy but have a hard time accessing due to our small classroom.

Love to redecorate a room? Why not help us makeover our classroom library! Currently books are stored on bookshelves or in bins where students do not get to see the cover of a book and will often skip over books that they may enjoy. A warm and inviting library is just what my students need to encourage them to read more books.

My students desperately need a functional library where they will enjoy reading and will browse through all of our wonderful books. I would like to set our library up so books can be displayed, enticing them to check them out.

You can help with our classroom library makeover and help my students gain more interest in reading. Your donation will help student learn to appreciate books and libraries as well. Doesn't everyone enjoy a nice looking library?
