Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a kindergarten bilingual teacher. I work in a high-need community in the inner city. I work work with two groups, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I work with 48 children who are eager to learn.

My students want to learn to write . One of the ways is to model the writing process. I do a lot of share writing. A whiteboard on wheels will help with this process. I do a lot of writing and they need to see what I write. The children copy a lot of the writing on their own papers. I need something that I can move around the room.

The whiteboard on wheels will help me move what I write so the children will see and be able to copy it. The smaller whiteboards will help them practice writing on their own. I will also use the smaller whiteboard in the writing center.

Your help will make it possible for my students to become better writers. It will help me model my writing and move it around the room so all the groups I have can see what I write.
