My students need one heavy duty electric pencil sharpener.

My inner-city third grade students are hard workers who are always eager to complete their assignments unfortunately they do not always have a sharpened pencil to get the job done.

My classroom is equipped with a wall-mounted manual sharpener. However, it is old, does not have a cover and the dull blades eat the pencils instead of sharpen them. I am unable to sharpen a pencil with the sharpener and my students have even less success with it.

My class would love to have a heavy duty electric pencil sharpener that could withstand the use of 24 students. A heavy duty electric pencil sharpener would save pencils, allow extra time for the students to work and spare the students tears and frustration from chewed up pencils.
