My students need 30 mice to replace old and broken ones (track ball gets dirty and prevents the mouse from working) in their computer lab.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a computer teacher that teaches 24 different classrooms a week that range from grades K-3 and special education. The area is a low-income area where almost all the students get a free lunch.

I have 40 computers in my class and some of the computers have broken mice. The students already have a hard time moving the mouse, but with the track ball in the mouse all dirty makes it even harder to operate.

I've installed new optical mice on some of the computers and the students are making progress. I don't have the funds to get mice for all of the computers, but with a little help I could get all the computers working properly. Replacing the old mice will help the students succeed on the computer and create less frustration for me to fix the old mice.

Your help will ensure that my students get a good piece of equipment that will create a more user friendly computer.
