The Four Agreements of Character in Education

My students need 30 copies of "Four Agreements" for reading, synthesis, evaluation and demonstration of this character education program, as well as two companion books for the program.

My students are 8th grade Language Arts learners. I call them my perpetual learners because learning should be a lifelong experience. My students live in a very challenging district with so many money crunches that even purchasing lined paper is on hold. Imagine that! So, I have to become more than creative to bring quality education to my kids.

Rudimentary skills like mutual respect and self esteem have been long overlooked. But, in reading "The Four Agreements", by Don Miguel Ruiz the obstacles are easily detected and repaired. This awesome book details four fundamental strategies for living: Speaking in Truth and Love; Don't Take Things Personally; Don't Make Assumptions; and Always Do Your Best. I've developed a curriculum that really ignites and compels my students to develop into strong, committed, independent, thinking young men and women.

Each student will need a copy of this fantastic, life changing book to participate in guided reading, evaluation, discussion and follow through for this Four Agreement Curriculum.

See, they're my children now and I seek to give them what I would desire for my own flesh and blood. Most lack real belief in themselves. And, I know this curriculum will work for them. It worked for me first; now I can pass it on to my shining stars.
