My students need 26 copies of the TIME for Kids World Atlas.

You can put the world in their hands. I teach World Cultures to 26 of the nicest young people you would ever be lucky enough to meet. They are in my grade six social studies class. Eager to learn about the world around them, they have asked for extra assignments about the geography and cultures we will be studying this year (Latin America, South Asia and East Asia.) Many in this class do not test high on our state reading assessment. However, they still find joy in learning new things about their world.

My students need a resource they can use at home to review what they learned in our World Cultures class as well as to learn new information about peoples and places. Sixth graders are still curious about the world.

I would like to give each child their own "Yes, this is yours, you can keep it!" TIME for Kids World Atlas. My students could keep this atlas at home for homework and/or enrichment activities. World Cultures is a two year Social Studies course in our county. These students will be able to use the atlas next year when they study Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Central Eurasia.

Your help will make it possible that 26 deserving eleven year olds have the world at their fingertips with their very own atlas. They will be able to explore and discover new worlds thanks to your donation.
